Take a ride to the city’s castles

Three castles, two names (the first Greek and the other Turkish) for each of it: The Pantokratoras castle, or Uc Kale, that seems to …be floating on the sea, with its dark tunnels leading to stunningheadlands, bordering the Ionian Sea. The impressively well preserved Agios Andreas castle, or Ic Kale, that is the oldest of the city, built by Ottomans in 17th century, and later restored by Venetians. Finally, the castle of Agios Georgios, or Yeni Kale, built by Ali Pasha in the beginning of the 19th century.
